Clwb Clex

Clwb Clex is a Welsh-medium youth club for young people between the ages of 11 and 16, and everyone is welcome whatever their background, faith or culture. The aim of the club is to give young people a chance to socialise, participate in different activities, relax and enjoy through the medium of Welsh in a safe environment.

We meet at the Morlan Centre every Friday night during the school term – from the end of September to the end of May – between 7pm and 9pm.

Our activities range from games (such as dodgeball, bingo, board games or snooker) to art sessions to specific activities (such as yoga or a treasure hunt), together with trips to the leisure centre or cinema. We also try to help charities that are important to us, especially ones that help children and young people.

The club is run by a committee that includes the Club Leader and representatives from amongst members and parents.

We look forward to seeing you at Clwb Clex.

A note for parents

We believe that it’s important for parents to maintain a close relationship with the club, and they are encouraged to be a part of the Clwb Clex committee.

All adults that are involved with Clwb Clex have undergone the required checks.

Clwb Clex is held in a safe environment on a Friday night and is not open to the public. Members are not allowed to leave the building. Members are asked to complete a registration form – for health and safety purposes mainly.
